A visit to cablesunlimited's website revealed that the latest version of OS X this works with is 10.3. This product doesn't work with modern OS X versions. I bought it and wasted over 30 mins trying to get it to work.
So far it has performed flawlessly. I just plugged it up and my printer connected without a problem. Would recommend. I purchased a Zebra label printer and it only had a parallel printer port connection and none of my computers had one. After searching on line I came up on this great little number and purchased it.
No hassles, no special software needed, no configuration other than telling the workstation what driver to use and select the port. Used to connect an HP5si to an NAS. Plugged in both ends and the NAS had a share based on the printer name.

Very disappointing and I can't even return it. All systems appear to be a go and yet nothing will make this print. (I ruined the package accidentally)I really thought I had an easy solution. Tried everything I could think of and had every IT person I knew take a look. Tried it on laptop as well as desktop - had to install the drivers.
